Searching GuideStar

Looking for a nonprofit organization? GuideStar It with the easy keyword search box at the top right of each page. The Advanced Search link below the keyword search box gives you more options. Read our Search Tips page for more specific advice on finding nonprofits. If you need access to more information, consider subscribing to GuideStar Premium.

Navigating GuideStar

Look at the top, right, and bottom of each page for special links and menus.

  • Some frequently used features are on the top or bottom of every page, including the keyword search box, log-in, shopping cart, site map, and a link for nonprofits to update their reports.
  • After you log in, you'll see a helpful page called My GuideStar that contains links to all of your customized services and account information.
  • You can get to main sections of the site using the links at the top of every page. Each section has additional links in the right column.
